For Licensed Agents · & People Willing To Get Licensed

Most uplines hand you a phone and a script. I hand you a machine.

I’m Mark Snyder — independent licensed life insurance agent, still on the phones every day. I’m building a small team with Family First Life (final expense + IUL), and what I give every agent on day one is the actual system that’s working for me right now: the CRM with the email and SMS cadences already wired, the call scripts I use, the lead-flow setup, the AI assistant that pre-qualifies online prospects. Independent contractor, commission-only. No luxury cars, no income screenshots — just the work, and the tools to do it.

Independent contractor, commission-only. Active state life insurance license required (or willingness to study for and obtain one at your cost). Income depends on your effort and results — there are no guarantees and no income claims on this page for a reason.

Who this is — and isn’t — for

This is a fit if you’re:

  • Self-motivated and willing to work the phones (this is a calling business).
  • Coachable — willing to follow scripts and learn what’s working before reinventing it.
  • Honest. You want to help families, not pressure them.
  • Comfortable being a 1099 independent contractor (no salary, no benefits — you eat what you sell).
  • Willing to get and keep an active state life insurance license at your own cost.
  • Looking for mentorship from someone who’s actually in the field, not a recruiter selling you a dream.

It’s probably not a fit if you:

  • Want a salary, W-2, or guaranteed income.
  • Don’t want to make phone calls.
  • Want a side hustle — this is a real business that needs your time and focus.
  • Are looking for a get-rich-quick or “passive income” pitch — that’s not this.
  • Aren’t willing to get licensed.

What you get

Most recruiters offer a contract and a pat on the back. Here’s the actual tool kit I’ll hand you.

The platform

  • Family First Life contracting — multiple A-rated carriers, no captive limits.
  • Access to the FFL training library and weekly trainings.
  • Lead-buying programs (Integrity Connect inbound transfers, direct mail, Facebook leads) — you choose what fits your budget.

What I add on top

  • The actual call scripts I use — including the 90-second pre-qualifier for inbound transfers and the full close script.
  • The CRM I built — GoHighLevel with email + SMS cadences already wired, appointment automation, lead alerts, and post-sale review/referral asks.
  • A working lead system — the website, ad campaigns, and the AI chat assistant that pre-qualifies online prospects.
  • Real 1-on-1 mentorship — not a Zoom in a 200-person room.

If you’re a licensed agent who’s stuck…

You don’t need another pep talk. You need a system. Recognize any of these?

The lead spigot ran dry.

You bought leads, worked them, ran out. Now what? Most uplines won’t answer that question with anything but “buy more.”

No CRM, no cadence, no system.

You write the policy and then… pray they don’t lapse, pray they refer, pray they remember you in 2 years. There’s a better way and it’s not magic — it’s plumbing.

The training was a webinar from 2019.

You watched a Zoom, got handed a phone, and got told to dial. If you have specific questions about a specific carrier on a specific case, who answers? Not a recruiter.

Your upline doesn’t sell anymore.

They recruit. They build slide decks. They post on Facebook. When’s the last time they actually closed a sale on a live call? You need someone who’s still doing it this week.

Talk to me about it

Most uplines vs. how I run things

Plain comparison. No spin. If any of these look wrong, ask me about them on the call.

  Most uplines My team
Lead system “Go buy leads.” A working CRM with cadences, a website that ranks, and an AI assistant that pre-qualifies online prospects — on day one.
Call scripts PDF from 2018, generic. The exact scripts I use this week — pre-qualifier, discovery, illustration walkthrough, close, objection handling.
Training A 200-person Zoom. 1-on-1. Real cases, real carriers, real questions.
When you call your upline Voicemail. Maybe a callback. My cell. I’m still on the phones — I know what’s happening on the front lines because I’m there.
What they recruit on Income screenshots, luxury car photos. A working system and honest math. If you want pictures of cars, this isn’t for you.
Carriers Captive or thin. FFL gives you access to a real shelf of A-rated carriers — IUL, FE, term, whole, mortgage protection, no-medical-exam.
After you write a policy You’re on your own. Automated review request, referral ask, and a renewal-review cadence — already built and running for me.

How it works

STEP 1

Tell me about yourself

Fill out the short inquiry below — name, state, whether you’re already licensed, and what brought you here. Takes a minute.

STEP 2

We get on a call

20–30 minutes, honest. I’ll walk you through what this actually looks like day-to-day, what you’ll need, and what to expect. You’ll get my unvarnished answers to whatever you want to ask.

STEP 3

If we’re a fit

We get you contracted with FFL, get your license sorted (if you don’t have one yet), and start your onboarding — including the scripts, CRM, and lead system.

The honest part

About the money

This is commission-only. There’s no salary, no draw, no signing bonus. What you earn is a function of how many policies you write and the carriers and products you sell. I will not quote you an income figure on this page or on our call, because honest numbers depend on your effort, your market, and your discipline — not a pitch.

About the costs

You’re responsible for your own state license (study course + exam + state fee), E&O insurance (sometimes provided through FFL, sometimes separate), and your lead buying if you choose to buy leads. I’ll be upfront about every cost before you sign anything.

About the work

This is a calling business. If you can’t or won’t make 50–100 phone dials a day in your first few months, this isn’t going to work. The flip side: the people who put the work in build a real, durable book of business that pays them for years on the policies they wrote.

About what I won’t do

I won’t show you a luxury car. I won’t flash an income screenshot. I won’t promise you anything I can’t back up. I will tell you the truth — the same way I tell my clients the truth on every call.

Common questions

Do I need a license already?

No — but you do need to get one. Most states have a study course you can do online in a couple of weeks, then a state exam. I’ll point you to the resources that worked for me. You pay for the course, exam, and state fee yourself.

How much can I make?

I’m not going to put a number on this page, and I won’t on our call either — because honest income depends on your effort, your market, your products, your discipline, and a lot of other variables. Any agent who quotes you a guaranteed income figure is selling, not advising. We’ll talk through commission structures, FFL’s comp grid, and realistic expectations privately.

Is this MLM?

Family First Life is an IMO with a hierarchical structure — agents can recruit other agents and earn overrides on team production. That said: this is a real insurance business first. You write policies, you serve clients, you build a book. Recruiting is optional, not the point.

What does day-one look like?

Get contracted with FFL. Get carrier appointments started. Begin your onboarding — scripts, CRM, the call flow, lead options. First weeks: training calls, role-playing, dialing leads with me on the line for your first appointments. Then you’re running appointments and writing business.

What kind of leads do agents work?

Mostly final expense — direct mail, Facebook lead forms, and inbound live transfers from services like Integrity Connect. Some agents also write IUL from referrals and online inbound. You choose what you buy; I’ll show you what’s working in each channel.

Do I have to live in Nevada?

No. You work from wherever you are. You’ll be licensed in your resident state to start; over time most agents add non-resident licenses in 5–10 states.
